Hi, Enchantée and Welcome!
Thanks for coming over to the Spellbound Blog, an extension of my event planning + rental décor business, Spellbinding Soirées. I'm starting the Spellbound Blog to provide event and party planning advice, inspiration, and DIYs, so you can expect to see all these things here! I especially love planning and executing themed celebrations, so a lot of the content in this blog will also be centered around themed events.
I should also introduce myself and give you a little background on me Hi- I'm Catherine Campo! I was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin, I have one sister, and I just recently got married. I'm a proud cat mom to a cute, sassy tortoiseshell kitty and a wannabe dog mom (it will happen someday!) My favorite season is Christmas and I'm not ashamed to admit I start decorating before Halloween is over.
I have a deep love for reading and my 2 favorite books are The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. I'm a self-proclaimed Potterhead and Disney-lover, but I know a ton about other fandoms (and have a Star Wars-loving husband), and love to incorporate said fandoms into events.
I'm passionate about people, planning, events, and crafting and I love spending time with my family. I get my extroverted personality from my father and my love of crafting and organization from my mother. I'm an "ENTJ" on the Myers-Briggs personality inventory, "Type 8" on the Enneagram personality test, and an "i" on the DiSC communication style assessment.
I'm also an open book, if you want to know anything about me, please just ask! I'd love to get to know you all and post creative content you're interested in.
